DESCRIPTION

The 5 Lb. zinc bagged anodes are packed in a rugged water permeable cardboard tube that has a minimum wall thickness of 2.3 mm. 17 Lb. are packaged in a cotton like material bag. Both these types of anodes are recommended for use in soils as grounding cells on electrical equipment and across insulators on pipelines to limit high voltages.
Typical grounding applications include pipelines, power stations, storage tanks, and transmission line towers and cables. Bagged anodes come in zinc and magnesium material.
