DESCRIPTION
Device is used to visually indicate satisfactory grounding of tank cars or tank trucks before and during the transfer of combustible materials.
When connected to a truck prior to loading or unloading, the presence of safe ground is indicated by a green light and the absence of ground is indicated by a red light. Interlocking circuitry will prevent pumps from starting until satisfactory ground is established or will shut pumps off with loss of ground at any time during loading or unloading.
An intrinsically safe circuit and explosion-proof enclosure enable the ground device to be used in Class 1, Group D, Division I areas.
