The valve can be installed in any position on the pipeline. Before installation of the valves, the pipe must be flushed clean of dirt, burrs and welding residues that may damage the seats and ball surface. The pipe must be free of tension. Use a conventional sealant, such as hemp core, Teflon, etc., on the threads. Apply wrench only on the hexagon of the valve ends. Tightening by using the valve body or lever can seriously damage the valve. The maximum process pressure must not exceed 300 psig.Air Supply
Pneumatic piping to the solenoid should follow the best practices for instrument pneumatic piping systems, i.e. line free of water, oil, pipe sealant or other contaminates. The operating media is to be filtered dry air or inert gas which is filtered to 400 micron particle size or less. It is extremely important that the solenoid be powered with the proper air pressure and air volume. Maximum working pressure is 120 psig and minimum is 60 psig.Electrical Connections
The ACL Shut-off Valve comes in either 12 vdc, 24 vdc or 120 vac operating voltages.| Copyright © 2008 Natcoparts | Home|Catalogue|Training|Services|News|Careers|Contact us|FAQ|Sitemap |
